Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Director of Estimating to build and lead an owner-side cost-intelligence function for data-center tenant fit-out and technology infrastructure. This role will establish independent should-cost estimates, benchmark pricing, and market intelligence to challenge proposals and negotiate effectively.

The candidate will partner with Engineering to ensure design standards meet performance while controlling cost and will lead AI-enabled estimating workflows across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience estimating low-voltage and technology-infrastructure.
• Experience with tenant-improvement or data-center fit-out.
• Ability to translate incomplete designs into a credible estimate.
• Strong understanding of cost drivers from design decisions and schedules.
• Experience collaborating with engineers, designers, contractors and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build an owner-side estimating capability with should-cost estimates for data-center tenant fit-out build types.
• Develop benchmark pricing, unit-cost libraries, labor assumptions, and market intelligence for relevant scopes.
• Review provider proposals and pricing to identify gaps and negotiate effectively.
• Provide defensible cost positions before and during commercial negotiations.
• Create repeatable, bid-ready assumptions and manage scope packages.
