Job summary

Oracle is seeking a Director of Estimating to lead an owner-side cost-intelligence function for data-center tenant fit-out and technology infrastructure. The role focuses on independent should-cost estimates, benchmarks, and automation of estimating through AI, collaborating with Engineering to ensure cost-efficient design standards.

The candidate will build repeatable costing baselines, manage proposals, and drive negotiation-ready cost positions across co-location and low-voltage contracts,

Qualifications

• Experience estimating low-voltage and technology-infrastructure.
• Ability to develop budgets, independent estimates, benchmarks, or owner-side cost models.
• Strong commercial judgment and data-center awareness.

Responsibilities

• Build an owner-side estimating capability with independent should-cost estimates.
• Develop benchmark pricing, unit-cost libraries, labor assumptions, and market intelligence.
• Review provider proposals, identify gaps and negotiate favorable terms.
• Provide leadership with clear, defensible cost positions during negotiations.
• Create repeatable, bid-ready assumptions and scope packages for each build type.
