Job summary

Selene Finance LP in Dallas, TX is seeking a Senior Data Analytics Leader to drive strategic insights across mortgage servicing, diligence, and related business units. You will oversee BI development, data pipelines, and analytics programs to deliver actionable reports for executives and stakeholders.

The role requires deep experience in statistical methods, data visualization, and mentoring teams, with a strong understanding of the mortgage industry and data governance. Travel is minimal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, statistics, data science, or computer science.
• MBA or master's in data analytics preferred.
• 10+ years directing teams responsible for data analysis and BI systems.
• Strong knowledge of Looker, Power BI, SQL, Python, and data modeling.
• Deep mortgage industry data knowledge and governance awareness.
• Ability to lead under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Define and utilize statistical methods to solve business problems.
• Evaluate information sources for reliability and usability.
• Apply sampling to define ideal categories to be questioned.
• Direct teams to analyze data patterns and trends.
• Prepare detailed management reports and executive summaries.
• Lead BI development and reporting using the Microsoft BI stack.
• Oversee automated data pipelines and documentation.
• Collaborate across departments (sales, operations, IT, HR, finance).
