Job summary

Met Council is seeking a creative, entrepreneurial Senior Director of Data & AI Systems to lead the long‑term vision for its data architecture, information systems, and responsible AI adoption. This hands‑on role unifies data across core platforms and strengthens governance for trustworthy reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technological product and/or project-management experience (required).
• 7+ years in data, technology, or systems leadership preferred.
• Data architecture and systems integration experience—ownership of data platform integration across Salesforce and/or a modern data warehouse.
• Bachelor’s degree (required); relevant advanced degree or technical certifications a plus.
• Continuous Learning: commitment to staying current with technological advancements through workshops, conferences, online courses, and relevant certifications.

Responsibilities

• Own Salesforce product ownership across Met Council’s departmental instances and drive governance.
• Evolve data systems and architecture to meet programmatic needs while preserving data integrity.
• Maintain pipelines, middleware, and warehousing supporting BI and reporting.
• Oversee data operations and analytics, guiding related projects.
• Support BI tools like Tableau within and across the organization.
• Define metrics and ROI for data initiatives; report results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to deliver scalable tech solutions.
