Job summary

Cadent seeks a visionary leader to head Data and AI Governance, reporting to the Chief Data Officer. You will establish an enterprise governance framework, oversee the AI Governance COE, and lead cross-functional teams to embed controls across the AI lifecycle.

You will drive risk management, policy adoption, and training to build a culture of responsible AI use and data accountability, partnering with engineering, product, and business leaders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in data governance, technology risk, or data strategy.
• Proven track record implementing governance programs in complex environments.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, data privacy regs, and risk areas.
• Ability to influence across engineering, product, and executive teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and operationalize enterprise-wide governance for data and AI.
• Lead the AI Governance COE and set policy creation and review processes.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate AI-related risks including privacy, bias, and vendor risks.
• Embed governance controls across the AI lifecycle from ideation to deployment.
