Job summary

Met Council, America’s largest Jewish charity, seeks a Senior Director of Data & AI Systems to own the long‑term vision for data architecture, governance, and responsible AI across the organization. This hands‑on leader will unify data, strengthen governance, and drive scalable, trustworthy reporting and AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of technological product and/or project‑management experience (required)
• 7+ years in data, technology, or systems leadership (preferred)
• Data architecture and systems integration experience across Salesforce and/or data warehouses
• Data governance and security experience with PII protection and BAAs
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or certifications a plus
• Continuous learning and staying current with technology trends

Responsibilities

• Own the long-term vision for Met Council’s data architecture and AI systems.
• Lead an in-house technical team and collaborate with vendors and external partners.
• Unify data across core platforms to enable trustworthy reporting and AI.
• Oversee data pipelines, middleware, and warehousing for BI scope.
• Define metrics and ROI for data initiatives and report results to stakeholders.
• Ensure accessibility and usability of data tools for diverse users across the org.
• Coordinate with government agencies, community organizations, and financial institutions.
