Job summary

CNA Insurance is seeking an experienced leader to oversee AI governance, responsible AI, and AI risk management. You will shape policies, standards, and controls across enterprise risk and security frameworks, steering governance reviews and executive communications.

You will collaborate with Technology Risk, Compliance, and business teams to embed governance in planning, delivery, and operations, while guiding regulatory alignment and audit readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Risk Management, Business, Law, Compliance, or related discipline required; Master's degree preferred.
• Typically a minimum of 10 years of experience in AI governance, technology risk, information security, model risk management, data governance, privacy, compliance, or related disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as enterprise SME on AI governance, Responsible AI, AI risk management, and regulatory requirements.
• Lead development of AI governance policies, standards, guidance, and review methodologies.
• Collaborate with Technology Risk and Security to embed AI risks within governance frameworks.
• Advise on AI risk scenarios including Generative AI, ML, LLMs, bias mitigation, and oversight.
• Develop executive-level governance communications and training.
• Monitor and improve governance metrics and reporting.
