Trade Nation is seeking a Head of Data & AI to lead our data and AI strategy across the organisation, reporting to the COO. This role splits roughly 60% AI and 40% Data, leading a data analytics team while partnering with Data Engineering, Compliance and senior stakeholders.

The leader will scale initiatives across multi‑jurisdictional regulatory entities, drive self‑service data access and embed AI into everyday operations to deliver measurable business impact.

Qualifikationen

• Proven leadership experience in Data/Analytics/AI functions.
• Hands-on expertise in SQL, data modelling and analytics engineering.
• Experience implementing AI that improves business workflows and delivers measurable impact.

• Own and drive AI strategy from opportunity to deployment and value realization.
• Redesign workflows around AI for practical outcomes.
• Build AI capability via training, templates and AI champions.
• Measure and report AI adoption, metrics and lessons learned.
• Own data warehouse gold layer: metrics, definitions, quality standards.
• Develop semantic data model for trusted business data access.
• Champion data self-service for teams to answer questions.
• Establish best practices for analytics engineering: testing, version control, documentation, code reviews.
• Improve data estate quality and reliability.
• Deliver proactive insights to senior leadership.
