Job summary

DBD International seeks a Head of AI Integration to establish and lead AI capability across our highly regulated markets. This newly created senior role combines technical leadership of AI/ML solutions with strategic, client-facing development of DBD’s AI proposition, defining vision, standards and building a multidisciplinary team while translating client ambitions into practical, deployable solutions.

You will help clients navigate AI adoption, from exploration through to production-ready

Qualifications

• Experience applying AI/ML including leading projects from concept to deployment.
• Ability to advise clients on AI adoption, readiness and roadmaps.
• Proven senior-level experience in developing client relationships and winning work.
• Strong hands-on proficiency in Python and AI/ML tooling, with MLOps familiarity.
• Experience leading or managing a technical team.
• Excellent communication to translate AI concepts for non-specialists.

Responsibilities

• Own and shape the AI vision, strategy and capability roadmap for DBD.
• Act as principal AI advisor to clients, assess maturity and craft adoption roadmaps.
• Build senior client relationships and position DBD as an AI partner.
• Lead AI/ML proof-of-concept work and support proposals where AI adds value.
• Design and apply AI/ML approaches to complex lifecycle and mission problems.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership using Python and modern AI tooling.
• Set design, validation, explainability and deployment standards for AI models.
• Establish governance and QA standards in regulated environments.
