Job summary

JPMorganChase seeks a Director of Architecture to lead data and AI architecture and drive impact across departments. Take the reins of data and AI initiatives, shaping the target state architecture and guiding complex programs with governance and security at the forefront.

You will mentor and manage senior architects, collaborate with product, security, and operations, and ensure architectural decisions align with business strategy in a global financial environment.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in software architecture.
• 5+ years in architecting large-scale data analytics platforms.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams of architects.
• Formal training or certification on architecture concepts and 10+ years applied experience.
• Experience leading a product as a Product Owner or Product Manager.

Responsibilities

• Sets the direction for Data architecture for diverse transactional and analytics applications.
• Drive the direction of AI enablement at the data layer, with innovative use of Search, Vector and Graph data stores
• Leads governance for coding decisions, control obligations, and measures of success such as cost of ownership and portfolio operations
• Leads reuse-first adoption of enterprise AI capabilities within the work environment with human-in-the-loop validation
• Makes decisions influencing resources, budget, tactical operations and processes
• Establishes governance standards for AI-assisted workflows in architecture and engineering decisions
