Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Principal Architect in Enterprise Technology to set and advance the firm's technology strategy across domains, shaping direction, standards, and scalable, secure AI-enabled solutions firmwide.

You will lead governance forums, define reference architectures and roadmaps, mentor architects, and drive adoption of architectural patterns that balance cost, risk, and business value in a large, regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on architecture concepts and 5+ years of applied experience in technology architecture, strategy, and engineering.
• Experience defining and driving architecture strategies across several domains in large, complex organizations.
• Advanced in one or more programming languages and deep expertise in enterprise architecture, applications, and technical processes.
• Ability to evaluate and integrate AI-enabled capabilities into enterprise-grade architectures with resilience, security, and auditability.
• Proven ability to influence leaders and drive change across engineering and product organizations.

Responsibilities

• Support executive decisioning by framing options and enabling firmwide prioritization aligned to business outcomes.
• Lead architecture governance forums to guide decisions and ensure consistency at enterprise scale.
• Define enterprise architecture strategies, reference architectures, target states, and roadmaps aligned to firmwide priorities.
• Drive adoption of AI-enabled architecture patterns with governance, traceability, and data sensitivity considerations.
• Advise executives on architecture strategy and direction, balancing cost, complexity, risk, and business value.
