Qualifications

• 10+ years of architecture experience in large-scale, data-centric platforms.
• 7+ years leading architecture for mission-critical data platforms in regulated environments.
• Formal training or certification in architecture and software engineering concepts.
• Experience with data governance, lineage, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Owns the target-state and transitional architectures for Data & Analytics platforms supporting Finance and Risk.
• Leads architecture governance across the tower with design principles, guardrails and review processes.
• Drives modernization roadmap balancing technical debt, resilience, scalability, cost, and time-to-market.
• Chairs or contributes to Architecture Review Boards and represents the tower in forums.
• Interfaces with senior leaders and stakeholders to influence technology investments.
• Provides hands-on coaching to domain architects and engineering leads.
• Ensures platforms adhere to data governance, risk management, regulatory obligations, security and resiliency standards.
• Establishes reuse-first AI-enabled engineering patterns with traceability and security controls.
• Mentors and develops a high-performing architecture practice across the team.
• Translates complex technical issues for leadership to enable strategic decisions.
• Establishes guardrails for AI-assisted workflows with auditability and control.
