Job summary

nVent is seeking a senior Enclosure Engineering leader to head a multi-site North American Custom Enclosure Engineering team from Minneapolis. The role focuses on prioritizing resources, aligning with cross-functional groups, and driving strategy, process rigor and design execution for custom enclosures.

The position requires a mechanical engineering background with 15+ years in engineering and 10+ years in leadership, plus strategic and interpersonal capabilities to mentor teams and drive

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering-related area with mechanical focus.
• Strong leadership experience (10+ years) and 15+ years of engineering with 10+ years in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-site North American Custom Enclosure Engineering team.
• Prioritize engineering resources and initiatives with cross-functional teams.
• Help develop and deploy engineering strategy, resource management and initiatives.
• Ensure process rigor, velocity and flexibility in ETO processes.
• Provide technical leadership aligned to long-term product architecture and goals.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering

Advanced degree in Engineering/Business (preferred)
