Job summary

Strategic Growth Partners seeks a Director to run our division day-to-day, overseeing four functions (Contracts, Procurement / Sourcing, Certifications, and Risk & Compliance) and the specialist contractors who staff them. You own the shared intake queue and drive engagements from discovery to close as the escalation point for clients and the team.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in compliance, contracts, procurement, or related operations.
• Experience with government contracting (federal and ideally SLED).
• Proven people-management experience with contractors/employees.

Responsibilities

• Run the division day-to-day across four desks: Contracts, Procurement / Sourcing, Certifications, and Risk & Compliance.
• Own the shared intake / ticketing queue: triage requests, assign owners, meet service commitments.
• Manage 1099 contractor team on the desks, setting priorities, standards, and deadlines.
• Serve as main POC for requests; keep clients and leadership informed.
• Run engagements from discovery through execution and close.
• Keep certifications and accreditations current; ensure gov-contract compliance.
• Maintain policies and procedures; run governance-and-risk cadence across desks.
• Identify need for legal support; involve Legal and President as needed.
• Report on queue health, turnaround, and risk to the President.
• Maintain independent governance-and-risk review of operations.
