Job summary

SECU is seeking a Lead Consumer Loan Product and Strategy Specialist to drive the consumer lending strategy, oversee day-to-day operations, and collaborate with senior leadership. The role focuses on portfolio performance, product enhancements, and technology initiatives to improve the member lending experience.

The position requires a strong background in consumer lending, strategic thinking, and cross-functional leadership within a hybrid on-site environment.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree or CCUE Certification, or Associate in Arts/Science via NC-CTP.
• Seven years of consumer lending experience.
• Strong integrity and objectivity.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the Consumer Loan Product and Strategy department.
• Analyze and manage consumer lending products and portfolio performance.
• Collaborate with VP to develop and execute strategic initiatives.
• Lead lending technology and system initiatives, including evaluating current technology and testing new systems.
• Facilitate collaboration with internal departments to align and execute lending initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional projects to improve workflows and operational effectiveness.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and internal policies.
