Job summary

Blue Ribbon Exteriors & Construction in Denver, CO, is seeking a Director of Construction Operations to lead projects and teams from preconstruction through closeout. This leadership role emphasizes client relations, process improvement, and growth across residential and commercial work.

You will manage budgets, schedules, procurement, and OAC meetings, while mentoring Project Managers and Superintendents to deliver high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Experience managing construction projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Strong estimating and budgeting skills.
• Experience reviewing construction plans and specifications.
• Ability to analyze subcontractor and vendor proposals.
• Experience leading client and project coordination meetings.
• Strong knowledge of scheduling, forecasting, and project financial management.
• Experience with construction management software; Buildertrend preferred.
• Experience developing processes and operating procedures.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or managing construction professionals.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from planning through completion.
• Manage schedules, budgets, procurement, subcontractors, change orders, and project closeout.
• Lead Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Monitor costs, forecasts, quality, and client satisfaction; resolve issues.
• Improve construction processes and standard operating procedures; drive continuous improvement.
