Job summary

Samsung Electronics America, Inc. (SEA) seeks a Director of Integrated Retail Planning to lead connected planning across the Samsung Experience Store network, owning demand forecasting, inventory allocation, promotional planning, and financial planning to create a single operating view.

The role partners with Retail Operations, Supply Chain, Corporate Finance, Product teams and Samsung's global retail organization to align product demand with budgets and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in retail planning with P&L ownership.
• Proven track record leading cross-functional planning processes in a matrixed organization.
• Deep expertise in demand forecasting, inventory planning, promotional planning, and allocation strategy.
• Strong financial acumen including retail P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and working capital optimization.
• Experience building or scaling planning capabilities in high-growth retail operations.
• Strong analytical skills to translate data into actionable recommendations for senior leadership.
• Experience managing and developing planning teams over time.

Responsibilities

• Own demand forecasting across stores, categories, and products, including launches, promotions, seasonality, and trends.
• Lead inventory allocation and replenishment strategies to improve product availability and sell-through.
• Own financial and demand planning for promotional activity, including pre- and post-event analysis.
• Develop integrated plans connecting sales, margin, expenses, demand, inventory, and promotions into a single view.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, long-range planning, and financial performance management for the SES business.
• Monitor performance, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations to Retail and Finance leadership.
• Develop store and portfolio reporting across sales, profitability, inventory, forecast accuracy, and KPIs.
• Partner with Supply Chain and Product teams to align forecasts with inventory and supply plans.
• Build scalable planning processes and governance to support store network growth.
• Align SES plans with broader financial and strategic priorities with Corporate Finance and global retail.
• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing planning team as the organization grows.
