Job summary

Hadrian is expanding its government relations team to manage relationships with Congress and to shape defense policy and budget strategy. This role is nonpartisan and aligns with the Chief of Staff and Strategic Engagement Partnerships to keep engagement and planning moving in the same direction.

The position starts with one direct report and may grow the Legislative Branch team over time, with dotted-line support for NDAA matters and coordination with other government relations functions.

Qualifications

• Experience translating policy priorities into legislative language.
• Proven ability to build relationships with congressional offices across the spectrum.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including briefings or testimony.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage relationships with congressional committees and staff.
• Set legislative strategy and translate program needs into asks.
• Oversee day-to-day congressional outreach and coordinate with internal teams.
• Direct external lobbying consultants and expand Hadrian's congressional reach.
• Represent Hadrian at hearings, briefings, and staff meetings.
