Job summary

A national leadership coalition is seeking an experienced Deputy Director of Government Relations to enhance engagement with Congress on diplomacy and international assistance. The ideal candidate will possess 6-10 years of experience and excellent communication skills to execute strategic advocacy efforts. This position involves lobbying, legislative analysis, and managing a Government Relations Team. A projected salary range of $90,000 to $120,000, along with a full benefits package, will be offered.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience with Members of Congress and their staff.
• Extensive knowledge of Congressional processes and the federal budget.
• Ability to strategize and execute complex advocacy strategies.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lobbying strategies to support U.S. diplomacy.
• Prepare written and oral communications for leadership and Congressional offices.
• Represent USGLC at public and private briefings and meetings.
• Oversee the Government Relations Team and track strategic objectives.
