Job summary

Hadrian is seeking a seasoned Government Relations leader to manage and grow relationships with Congress. The role requires translating policy priorities into legislative language, maintaining bipartisan credibility, and coordinating with the Defense Budget & Resourcing team as needed.

You will oversee a small team and external consultants, ensuring consistent, on-message engagement with committees and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience translating policy priorities into legislative language and outcomes.
• Ability to build and sustain relationships with congressional offices across the political spectrum.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including speechwriting or testimony preparation.

Responsibilities

• Build congressional strategy and relationships with leadership, Armed Services and Appropriations Committees, and relevant staff.
• Set legislative strategy for Hadrian's priorities in legislation and translate needs into requests.
• Own day-to-day congressional outreach and coordinate with broader team on political dynamics.
• Partner with senior Government Relations leadership to align Hill strategy with budgeting regulations.
• Manage external lobbying consultants and extend Hadrian's congressional reach.
