Job summary

Northern Trust is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to serve as the lead authority for Financial Crimes, Regulatory Compliance, and Regulatory Change portfolios. You will provide technical leadership across AML, KYC, sanctions screening, fraud prevention, ethics and conduct, and related compliance domains while aligning solutions with regulatory obligations and business strategy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
15+ years of enterprise architecture, software engineering, data architecture, or technology leadership.
Experience delivering SaaS, cloud-native, hybrid, and on-premise solutions.
Familiarity with financial services, regulatory, risk, compliance, audit, or financial crimes tech.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture for Financial Crimes, Regulatory Compliance, and Regulatory Change portfolios.
Define target-state architecture and governance aligning with regulatory obligations and business strategy.
Develop portfolio roadmaps, modernization strategies, and platform rationalization.
Establish architecture standards for SaaS, cloud-native, hybrid, and on-premise environments.
Oversee vendor evaluations, platform selection, and total cost of ownership.
