Northern Trust Corp. is seeking a Compliance Architect to serve as the senior architecture authority across Financial Crimes, Regulatory Compliance, and Regulatory Change portfolios.

The role focuses on establishing target-state architecture, governance, and modernization across SaaS, cloud-native, hybrid, and on-premise environments. Responsibilities include leading technology strategy, evaluating platforms, and ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Fifteen+ years of progressively responsible experience in enterprise architecture or technology leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the lead architecture authority for Financial Crimes, Regulatory Compliance, and Regulatory Change portfolios.
• Develops portfolio-level architecture roadmaps and modernization strategies.
• Defines and governs enterprise architecture principles, standards, and reference architectures.
• Leads evaluation and selection of strategic technology platforms and vendor solutions.
• Provides architectural leadership for regulatory technology platforms including AML, monitoring, and audit automation.
