Job summary

Gulfport Energy Corporation in Oklahoma City seeks an experienced Completions Engineering Manager to lead design and evaluation of completion activities, including fracture stimulation and drill-out operations, and to oversee budgeting and forecasting of capital programs.

You will mentor engineers and field staff, drive safe, cost-effective completion programs, collaborate with geology and reservoir teams, review designs, implement new technologies, and ensure regulatory compliance across

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master in Engineering; 10+ years in Completions Engineering with an upstream E&P company.
Multi-basin experience preferred, but not required.
Industry training and certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

Promote and enforce internal safety programs and enhance safety culture by implementing best practices.
Review designs and procedures for safe, cost-effective completion operations.
Supervise completions personnel to ensure a safe, low-cost work environment.
Provide leadership to technical and field staff to troubleshoot issues and ensure safe operations.
Lead development and implementation of new well completion programs to meet production targets and maximize economics.
Collaborate with geology and reservoir teams to design cost-effective fracture stimulation designs.
Evaluate new technologies and techniques for completion operations.
Be aware of and comply with all laws affecting operations.
