Summit Therapeutics Inc. is a biopharma oncology company seeking a Senior Director of Commercial Excellence to build and govern the systems, rules, and processes used by Marketing, Market Access, Market Research, Finance, and Compliance.

This role is the backbone of Commercial Operations, overseeing people, data, technology, training, reporting, and analytics across multiple functions. The role reports to the Executive Director, Commercial Operations and leads four directors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 12+ years of commercial or sales operations experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry; senior level.
• Specialized knowledge in CRM platforms, incentive compensation modeling, and commercial analytics; oncology knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy, operating model, and annual plan for Commercial Operations.
• Own backbone of Commercial Operations: people, process, data, tech, training, reporting, analytics.
• Serve as operational counterpart to Marketing, Market Access, and Market Research; resolve cross-functional conflicts.
• Partner with Oncology Nurse Educators and Regional Marketing Directors; align systems and processes.
• Lead Marketing Operations through the Director; manage promotional review workflow and events.
• Oversee data and technology infrastructure, data warehouse, and third-party data contracting; ensure system requirements.
