Job summary

Summit Therapeutics Inc. is seeking a Senior Director of Commercial Excellence to lead the headquarters side of Commercial Operations.

You will build and govern systems, rules, and processes across Marketing, Market Access, Market Research, Finance, and Compliance, serving as the operational backbone for the function. The role reports to the Executive Director, Commercial Operations and oversees multiple director-level teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• 12+ years of commercial or sales operations experience in pharma/biotech with product launches.
• Oncology knowledge is a plus; travel approximately 25% domestically.

Responsibilities

• Set strategy, operating model, and annual plan for Commercial Operations.
• Own backbone of operations: people, process, data, technology, training, and analytics.
• Partner with Marketing, Market Access, and Market Research to align systems and definitions.
• Lead, coach, and develop four direct reports; manage budgets and vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and quality standards across commercial activities.
