Job summary

Owens & Minor seeks a Director, Commercial Learning & Development to lead strategy, governance, and capability-building across a dispersed Commercial organization. The role partners with Commercial Leadership, Sales, HR, Marketing and Talent to design, implement, and continuously improve learning solutions that drive onboarding, sales effectiveness, and workforce readiness.

The anticipated salary range is $160,000 - 170,000 annually plus 20% AIP eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Commercial Learning & Development function with strategy, governance, priorities, and capability roadmap.
• Develop and implement scalable learning and capability-building solutions across the commercial teammate lifecycle including onboarding, sales effectiveness, product knowledge, and leadership development.
• Assess capability needs and partner with Commercial, Sales, HR, and Talent leaders to identify gaps and implement solutions that drive business results.
• Lead, coach, and develop the CL&D team while contributing to key initiatives, program design, and capability-building efforts in a build-and-scale environment.
• Oversee design, delivery, and continuous improvement of commercial learning programs, learning pathways, onboarding experiences, certification frameworks, and leadership initiatives.
• Establish learning governance, standards, measurement frameworks, and operating practices for consistency, scalability, engagement, and business impact.
• Manage the CL&D portfolio, budget, vendor relationships, technologies, and investments to maximize organizational effectiveness and ROI.
