Job summary

REMSA Health in Reno, NV seeks a Director of Clinical Standards & Practices to lead clinical quality, education, and governance initiatives. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Emergency Medical Services, Public Health, Education, Clinical Quality or related field.
• 3+ years leadership/management experience with personnel, programs, or budgets.
• Current or ability to obtain Nevada Paramedic RN license or NR/CAA within 6 months (NRP or RN).
• Knowledge of clinical quality improvement methodologies and regulatory requirements.
• 5+ years in EMS/healthcare with quality improvement, education or clinical operations.
• Proven leadership with supervision of clinical staff and programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for CQI, clinical standards and governance programs.
• Develop and revise clinical standards, policies, and training curricula.
• Analyze clinical quality data and report KPIs for decision-making.
• Lead accreditation readiness and regulatory inspections.
• Oversee education, credentialing, and continuing competency programs.
• Collaborate with medical directors, hospitals, and regulatory agencies.
• Drive performance improvement and organizational change initiatives.
