Job summary

Tract Capital Management, a leader in digital infrastructure investment, seeks a Manager, Carrier & Vendor Relations to lead sourcing, contracting, and relationship management for campus connectivity across multiple data centers.

Reporting to the VP of Site Communications & Network Infrastructure, you will guide a small team, drive complex negotiations, and ensure on-time delivery with strict SLAs and cost controls.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in carrier/vendor management, telecom procurement, or related field.
• 3+ years directly managing a small team of specialists/administrators.
• Experience leading cross-functional commercial efforts and vendor negotiations.

Responsibilities

• Directly lead and develop a small team of three specialists responsible for carrier relations, satellite/backup connectivity, and contract administration.
• Coordinate workloads and serve as escalation point for complex carrier, spectrum, and contractual matters while building cross-coverage.
• Source and procure third-party connectivity (lit circuits, dark fiber, wavelengths, IRUs, leases) and manage end-to-end orders.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, MSAs/SOWs, renewals, and contract expirations with Legal and Procurement.
• Own carrier/vendor relationships, define SLAs, and drive performance reviews.
• Coordinate physical delivery, turn-up, and acceptance testing with engineering teams.
