Job summary

Tract Capital Management seeks a Manager, Inside Plant Engineering to lead the campus-wide internal infrastructure design and construction. You will direct a small team and coordinate with cross-functional groups to ensure safe, compliant, and timely delivery of structured cabling, life-safety, and RF systems across multiple data center sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• 10+ years in inside-plant/structured-cabling or data-center infrastructure delivery.
• 3+ years leading a small technical team and managing contractors.

Responsibilities

• Directly lead and develop a small team of three specialists: Senior Inside Plant Engineer, Signal Systems Engineer, and Safety Systems Specialist.
• Coordinate workloads against campus build schedules and serve as technical escalation point when sub-specialties intersect.
• Coach team members to build bench strength and cross-coverage across multiple campuses.
• Own the Inside Plant function end-to-end from pre-construction design to turnover.
• Define design standards for structured-cabling and establish QA/QC criteria.
• Oversee delivery of ERRCS/BDA, indoor DAS, 5G boosters, and safety systems with AHJ compliance.
• Review drawings, BOMs, and as-builts for accuracy and code compliance.
• Drive subcontractors to meet scope, schedules, and budget.
• Ensure commissioning handover to Daily Operations and cross-function with OSP, Network, and Construction teams.
