Job summary

Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY is seeking a dynamic Manager, Box Office to lead the box office team and oversee ticketing operations for a busy live-entertainment venue. You will manage staff, coordinate with promoters, and ensure accurate financial reconciliation and customer service excellence.

You will drive ticketing strategies, supervise full-time and part-time staff, and ensure compliance with ADA regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Sports Management, Hospitality, Accounting, or related field.
3+ years of progressive Box Office leadership experience in live entertainment venues.
3+ years of supervisory experience leading Box Office staff.
Experience using Ticketmaster Host and Archtics.
Strong knowledge of ticketing operations, reconciliation, and cash handling.
Experience collaborating with promoters and venue leadership.
Union environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Support daily Box Office operations and coach the Box Office management team.
Recruit, train, schedule, and develop part-time Box Office staff.
Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, financial controls, and audits.
Manage all events in Ticketmaster Host system with pricing, holds, and on-sale.
Partner with promoters and internal teams to optimize ticketing strategies and revenue.
Oversee ticket inventory, ADA seating, and group sales allocations.
Manage daily ticket sales reconciliations, settlements, and reporting.
Coordinate ticketing initiatives and marketing promotions.
Oversee ticket printing and distribution for various events.
Monitor staffing to ensure efficient labor use during events.
Maintain accurate event documentation and archives.
Identify opportunities to improve Box Office processes.
