Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a Director of Attendee & Exhibitor Services to lead IPW operations and oversee attendee/exhibitor services, housing, logistics, sponsorship fulfillment, and performance reporting. You'll supervise managers and external consultants across multiple portfolios, guiding floor plans and technology strategy.

The role demands strong leadership, strategic planning, and hands-on problem solving with a proven track record in large-scale trade shows and non-profit event organizations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 8-10+ years in trade show operations and event logistics.
• 3-5+ years of direct line-management experience.
• Proven expertise in floor plan strategy, facility management, security protocols, building management, electrical/IT utilities.
• Data analytics capabilities with dashboard reporting.
• Housing management and sponsorship fulfillment knowledge.
• Experience with AMS, floor plan software, mobile apps; Smartsheet is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform tactical, day-to-day operational execution across all portfolio events.
• Provide direct leadership to managers and oversee external consultants.
• Oversee housing program and attendee/exhibitor services.
• Lead event-wide data analysis, reporting dashboards and performance analytics.
• Guide tech-stack strategy and system reviews for enhanced digital performance.
