Job summary

gategroup is seeking an experienced Operations Leader for the Hub’s Assembly department in the United States. You will steer structure, lean improvements and labour planning across Wash & Pack, Make & Pack, and Pick & Pack, while ensuring HACCP and customer-spec compliance.

You will actively develop the Assembly leadership team, coach staff, and partner with Supply Chain and HR to optimize performance and resource use in a high-volume food service operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject or business management is preferable.
• 5+ years’ experience in operations leadership within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong people-management, coaching and performance-management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the three Assembly operating areas: Wash & Pack, Make & Pack, and Pick & Pack.
• Drive structure, processes and lean improvements to optimize productivity and labour planning.
• Ensure HACCP compliance, customer specs and safety regulations.
• Develop and coach Assembly leadership, focusing on engagement, feedback and performance management.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain and HR for cross-functional alignment and staffing decisions.
• Establish KPI tracking, manage productivity targets, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead audits and ensure compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.
