GAST Manufacturing, a unit of IDEX Corporation, is seeking a technically skilled team member to support the Value Stream Leader during their absence and act as a technical lead in the assembly department. You will contribute to quality and throughput in a fast-paced cell and promote Lean 6S standards.

Responsibilities include cycle counts, material handling, defect notification, and training of new/transferred assemblers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year related experience in manufacturing or assembly.
• Ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment.
• Ability to read assembly documentation and measure parts.

Responsabilités

• Support coverage of Value Stream Leader during absence.
• Perform cycle counts, parts orders, backflush operations, and training.
• Notify VSL of defects and assist in root-cause analysis.
• Maintain flow in the work cell and communicate with customers/suppliers.
• Lead by example to maximize cell output and follow 6S.
• Provide training and ensure training matrix certification levels.
