Job summary

Gate Gourmet is seeking an Assembly leader to provide overall leadership and tactical direction for the Assembly departments within the Hub operations. You will coordinate three operating areas and partner with Supply Chain and HR to optimize labour and processes.

The role requires strong people management, Lean/CI experience, HACCP compliance, and a track record of driving productivity. This is a full-time, on-site position in Chantilly, VA with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of operations leadership experience
• Experience managing large teams (50–500) and cross-functional collaboration
• Knowledge of Lean, CI, HACCP compliance and safety standards

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the Assembly areas: Wash & Pack; Make & Pack; Pick & Pack.
• Optimize processes, stations, floor maps, and labour planning.
• Ensure HACCP compliance and customer specs.
• Develop Assembly leadership through coaching and performance management.
• Set KPIs and drive labour planning with Supply Chain Process Director and HR.
