Job summary

Gate Gourmet is seeking a supervisor to oversee dish room, EPA, pre-load, liquor/beverage and transportation operations in Chantilly. You will lead a team of 30+ hourly staff and ensure safety, quality and airline customer compliance.

This role requires 2+ years of supervisory experience in high-volume food production, strong leadership and communication skills, and ServSafe certification. Salary range is $65,000–$68,000 per year with benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; an Associates degree preferred.
• 2+ years supervisory experience in a high-volume manufacturing, food production, catering or restaurant setting.
• Ability to lead a staff of 30+ hourly employees; strong communication and time management skills.
• ServSafe Certification required; ability to train and coach staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct dish room, liquor/beverage process employees and related operations.
• Ensure safety, quality and compliance with airline specifications and company policies.
• Prepare management reports (attendance, HAACCP and labor) as required.
• Monitor productivity, costs and manpower planning; coach and develop staff.
• Maintain daily logs and coordinate with maintenance for preventive upkeep.
