Job summary

SwitchThink Solutions is seeking aDirector of Architecture & Engineering to lead technology architecture and engineering. The role oversees enterprise roadmaps, platform modernization, and governance across regulated credit union clients in a fast-paced MSP environment.

Based in Phoenix, AZ, this hybrid position requires 8+ years in technology or architecture, with 5+ years of leadership. You will collaborate with CTOs and peers to balance innovation, risk, and operational efficiency while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, CS, IS, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in technology or architecture roles across infra, cloud, application, and integration.
• 5+ years leadership guiding senior technical professionals or architecture teams.
• Experience leading architecture within complex, multi-platform or multi-client environments.
• Strong resiliency, security, disaster recovery, and regulatory knowledge in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise and domain architecture roadmaps aligned to business strategy, client requirements, and regulatory considerations.
• Own the end-to-end Plan and Build lifecycle for new technologies, platforms, and major initiatives.
• Provide architectural leadership and engineering execution to ensure solutions are designed, built, tested, and production ready.
• Partner with security and risk teams to ensure architectural designs align with regulatory, audit, and compliance expectations.
