Job summary

YMCA of Southern Arizona is seeking an Association Aquatics Director to lead our aquatic department across the association. This hands-on role requires supervising staff, developing preventive maintenance and safety systems, and ensuring high-quality service and compliance with health and safety standards.

The position emphasizes leadership, training, and collaboration with branches and community partners. Flexibility to travel between sites and contribute to fundraising and program development

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
Experience supervising aquatic staff and programs.

Responsibilities

Develops and implements preventive maintenance and safety procedures.
Trains staff and conducts monthly safety drills.
Oversees daily aquatic operations for the association.
Manages budgets and staffing schedules.
Ensures regulatory compliance and staff certifications.
Fosters partnerships with schools and community orgs.
