Anthropic is seeking a leader to build and lead its Security team, guiding how Claude is used safely and effectively. You will shape team hires, priorities, and collaboration with Sales and product groups. Expect hands-on work with major security customers and cross-functional partners to set standards and playbooks.

You will manage strategic accounts while shaping security reviews and risk communications for CISOs and engineering teams, in a hybrid work setting based in San Francisco.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of industry experience with at least 4 years managing a team of customer-facing technical people.

Responsabilités

• Hire and develop the first Applied AI Architects on the Security team with clear goals.
• Prioritize team focus across segments and account types; manage headcount demand.
• Collaborate with security account executives on joint plans and forecast reviews.
• Guide customers from discovery to evaluations with success criteria and evolve to ongoing security workloads.
• Coordinate with security ISVs, system integrators, and managed security providers; maintain partner delivery boundaries.
• Bring in Applied AI Engineers and cross-functional teams when needed for customer builds or reviews.
• Write security playbooks and evaluation approaches; feed learnings back to Product and Engineering.
• Manage a few strategic security accounts from executive briefings to hands-on workshops.
