Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking the Head of App and Web Technology in Atlanta to lead strategy and execution for IHG's direct digital channels, including the IHG One Rewards app and global web ecosystem. You will drive performance, innovation, and reliable operations at scale, coordinating with Product, Technology, Loyalty, Brand, and regional stakeholders to deliver measurable business impact.

Qualifications

12+ years of progressive experience across product marketing, product management, digital technology, and platform leadership.
Experience leading architecture, development, operation, and modernization of high-volume digital platforms across multi-cloud environments (AWS and GCP).
Strong command of cloud-native architecture, microservices, APIs, containers, and serverless computing.
Experience directing modern mobile and web engineering, front-end frameworks, and API-driven architecture.
Experience establishing engineering standards for CI/CD, testing, release management, observability, and site reliability.

Responsibilities

Set and activate a bold product and technology vision for direct digital ecosystem.
Drive app/web product management to grow direct revenue.
Partner with internal teams and providers to deliver scalable digital capabilities.
Champion enterprise-wide platform initiatives across functions.
Identify highest-impact opportunities from guest needs and gaps.
Build business cases with ROI, cost-benefit, and portfolio rationalization.
Establish success metrics, budgets, and delivery tracking.
Build and develop a high-performing global engineering team.
