Job summary

SoLo Funds is seeking a Director of Analytics to lead our analytics strategy and transform data into actionable insights that shape business decisions. You will own the full analytics lifecycle, partner with cross-functional stakeholders, and mentor a high-performing team.

The role requires 7+ years in analytics/BI or data science, strong SQL/Python, and experience with dbt and Looker. Fintech exposure and a regulated environment background are preferred, with fully remote work options available.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in analytics, BI, or data science with leadership experience.
• Excellent communicator, able to translate data into business strategy.
• Strong SQL and Python skills with modern modeling (dbt) and BI (Looker).
• Experience applying AI/LLMs in BI/data contexts to practical problems.
• Experience in fintech, high-growth startups, or regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytics strategy and partnerships across departments.
• Define metrics and build scalable reporting infrastructure.
• Oversee semantic layer and scalable data models for trusted, self-service reporting.
• Drive AI-powered analytics initiatives to improve time-to-insight.
• Mentor and grow the analytics team.
