Join a fast-growing, AI-forward SaaS company at a major stage of commercial growth. The company is looking for a hands-on analytics leader to own its analytics function across Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing. This is an opportunity to transform a historically reactive analytics function into a trusted, proactive partner to the business.
What You'll Do
- Own the analytics strategy and roadmap across Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing.
- Deliver rigorous, timely ad hoc analysis at the operating pace of senior leadership.
- Develop clear recommendations rather than simply presenting data or a menu of options.
- Analyze areas such as revenue performance, pipeline health, conversion, churn, retention, customer health, onboarding, marketing effectiveness, and sales productivity.
- Build toward a proactive insights capability that identifies emerging risks and opportunities.
- Establish consistent metric definitions, reporting standards, and quality controls.
- Identify when reporting problems originate from broken business processes, CRM workflows, or upstream data capture.
- Work with the appropriate operations teams to drive those issues through to durable resolution.
- Partner closely with Data Engineering on data architecture, modeling, quality, and tooling decisions.
- Use AI-powered analytics tools to automate routine data access and expand self-service capabilities.
- Determine when a request should be answered through self-service tools, delegated, deprioritized, or handled directly.
- Create a clear operating model for analytics intake, prioritization, delivery, and stakeholder communication.
- Present insights and recommendations to the CRO, CEO, and broader executive leadership team.
- Manage and develop a lean analytics team while establishing a culture of rigor, ownership, urgency, and accountability.
What You'll Bring
- Significant experience in analytics, business intelligence, revenue analytics, or data strategy.
- A track record of owning analytics for a revenue organization.
- Strong understanding of Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing data and operating metrics.
- Experience supporting a scaling SaaS, subscription, or similarly data-intensive commercial business.
- Strong hands-on SQL, BI, visualization, and data-modeling capabilities.
- Experience improving or establishing reporting infrastructure in an organization where analytics was incomplete, fragmented, or not fully trusted.
- Experience partnering with Data Engineering on pipelines, architecture, governance, and tooling decisions.
- Executive-level communication skills and experience presenting to VP, C-suite, or board-level stakeholders.
- High intellectual curiosity and the desire to understand why the business is performing as it is, not simply report what happened.
- A record of independently identifying important problems and driving them through to completion.
- Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment with ambiguity, imperfect data, and a deliberately lean team.
Why Join?
- Take full ownership of a highly visible analytics function at a critical stage of company growth.
- Build the reporting, analytical, and operating foundation that the business has not previously had.
- Work directly with the CRO, CEO, and senior leaders across the organization.
- Deliver insights with the potential to materially change commercial priorities and business performance.
- Help define how an AI-forward company approaches analytics, self-service data access, and business intelligence.
