Job description

$150,000–$175,000 Base + Meaningful Bonus

Harnham is partnering with a rapidly growing technology company to hire an Analytics Manager. The business is developing an innovative data and AI platform designed to help organizations better understand their operations and identify opportunities for performance improvement.

This is a highly visible role for someone who combines a strong analytics background with excellent project management, commercial judgment, and people leadership. You will lead a growing team of analysts responsible for running complex data processes and delivering high-quality analysis across multiple client engagements.

The Role

As Analytics Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day delivery of the analytics function, ensuring data is onboarded, processed, analyzed, and quality-checked efficiently across multiple concurrent engagements.

You will manage a team of analysts while partnering with data scientists, engineers, consultants, and other technical teams to maintain a consistently high quality bar and identify opportunities to improve processes and tooling.

This is not a pure hands-on data science or AI research position. The emphasis is on managing analytical delivery, maintaining quality, solving problems, and keeping complex projects moving against demanding deadlines.

Key responsibilities will include:
  • Leading and mentoring a growing team of data analysts.
  • Managing analyst capacity and priorities across multiple concurrent engagements.
  • Overseeing the end-to-end analytics and data pipeline process, from data onboarding through QA and final analysis.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong QA standards across analytical outputs.
  • Reviewing pipeline outputs, identifying recurring issues, and driving improvements to processes and tooling.
  • Conducting cross-engagement analysis to identify opportunities to improve quality and efficiency.Partnering with technical and business teams to troubleshoot issues and improve delivery.
  • Using SQL, Python, and Excel where required to investigate data, validate outputs, and support your team.
  • Translating technical findings into clear business implications for stakeholders.
  • Helping turn manual processes and recurring issues into scalable, repeatable workflows.
Your Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will likely have 4–8 years of experience within analytics, data science, consulting, or another quantitative environment, alongside experience leading people or analytical workstreams.

You should bring:

  • Strong project management skills and experience delivering multiple projects against tight deadlines.
  • Experience managing, mentoring, or taking significant responsibility for the work of junior analysts.
  • A strong analytics foundation, including SQL and ideally Python.
  • Experience working with data pipelines, data quality, reconciliation, or analytical QA.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to connect analytical outputs to broader commercial questions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams.
  • A high level of attention to detail and a strong understanding of analytical QA best practices.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment where priorities can change quickly.
  • An automation-first mindset and an interest in how emerging AI technologies can improve analytical workflows.

Experience within consulting, startups, analytics consulting, or another deadline-driven client-service environment would be particularly relevant.

You do not need to be an expert in LLM evaluation frameworks or have personally built sophisticated AI QA systems. More important is your ability to understand what high-quality analytical delivery looks like, manage the processes and people responsible for it, and work effectively with specialist technical teams.

The Benefits
  • Meaningful annual cash bonus
  • Opportunity to lead and grow an analytics team
  • Significant ownership within a high-growth environment
  • Exposure to innovative applications of AI and analytics
  • Hybrid working in Boston

If you are an analytics professional who enjoys combining data, people leadership, project delivery, and problem-solving, this is an opportunity to take meaningful ownership within a rapidly growing technology organization.
