Job summary

State Street is seeking a Managing Director, Alternatives Data Solutions in Massachusetts to lead data-centric initiatives across the Alternatives business, driving governance, design, and analytics to improve client outcomes and operational efficiency.

The role partners with Accounting Operations, FP&A, and Technology to deploy a run-the-bank program, establish authoritative data sets, and define future operating models while building high-performing teams and aligning with enterprise data

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in Data Design and Management and governance in finance.
• Expertise in capturing, redesigning and executing business processes.
• Proven leadership delivering complex data solutions.
• Strong project management with cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead data strategy and governance for Alternatives data products.
• Collaborate with CFOs, accounting ops, FP&A, product and tech teams.
• Drive run-the-bank program for data collection and new capabilities.
• Lead change-the-bank efforts to publish authoritative data sets.
• Define future operating models and ensure clear data roles and controls.
• Establish KPIs and foster data-driven decision making.
