Job summary

State Street is seeking a Vice President level independent contributor to join the Alternative Investments Transformation team. You will lead analytics projects, collaborate with technology and stakeholders, and design solutions for internal operations and clients.

The role requires strong initiative, organization, and the ability to manage multiple assignments with tight timelines. Prior experience in Alternative Investments is preferred and a solid analytical background is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of study.
• 8+ years of proven experience in analytics or transformation roles.
• Ability to analyze and interpret large and complex datasets, validate data quality, and produce reports.
• Ability to create visual models that support analyses (e.g., workflow diagrams).
• Experience managing multiple deliverables with shifting priorities and timelines.
• Results-oriented ownership mentality and strong technology insights.
• Preferred experience in Alternative Investments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the business, process, and data analysis of complex data and visualization projects.
• Consult with business unit management to analyze requirements and surface real needs.
• Evaluate solutions and identify the optimal analytical approach within existing tech.
• Provide subject matter expertise of production processes, controls and operations.
• Communicate decisions clearly to peers, development, and senior management.
• Coordinate with scrum teams, business owners and product to keep stakeholders informed and roadmap on track.
• Identify and define production implementation requirements.
