Job summary

Menzies Aviation in Santa Ana is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead station operations, safety, and compliance across the business. You will drive service delivery, manage budgets, and ensure governance and regulatory adherence while engaging customers and expanding the station’s aviation services.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to operate within corporate governance and financial guidelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Excellent leadership and people management skills.
Experience in business development, sales, and commercial negotiation & pricing.
Extensive management experience, preferably in airport ground handling.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence across levels.
Must be able to pass background check and drug test; authorized to work in USA.
Able to work variable shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Fully responsible for safety, security, and staff wellbeing at the station.
Lead senior team to maintain effective safety and security systems and audits.
Develop station budgets and monitor financial performance.
Ensure asset management, vendor payments, and inventory controls.
Drive growth opportunities and manage customer relationships.
Implement and maintain Emergency Response, Business Continuity, and environmental plans.
