Job summary

Echo Global Logistics, Inc. is seeking a Manager, Security Operations to lead the 24/7 Security Operations Center and drive AI-powered threat detection, investigation, and response.

This hands-on leadership role shapes security strategy, leads major incident response, and builds a world-class security operations capability in a SOX-regulated, SOC 2 Type 2 environment. You will mentor SOC analysts and security engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology or related field (or equivalent).
• 8+ years in security operations, incident response, or threat detection.
• 3+ years leading a SOC or security operations team.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day SOC operations across cloud and on-prem environments.
• Serve as Incident Commander for major security incidents.
• Drive AI-powered security operations, automation, and detection initiatives.
• Own and optimize SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, and threat intel platforms.
• Develop incident response plans, playbooks, and automation workflows.
