Job summary

Allstate is seeking a Senior Manager, Global Security Operations, to lead the 24x7 SOC remotely from the United States. You will partner with frontline analysts, incident handlers, and regional/global teams to drive performance, improve detection and response, and strengthen operational excellence.

You will own KPIs (MTTD/MTTR, SLA), mentor talent, and drive data-driven improvements across SIEM/SOAR, ensuring a high-paced, low-burnout culture in a Fortune 100 setting.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership in a Security Operations Center (SOC) with floor-level experience.
• 6+ years in security operations, incident response, or related cybersecurity discipline.
• 4+ years of people management, including global team coordination.
• Experience developing, maintaining, and interpreting operational metrics to drive improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead from the SOC floor, coordinating analysts, shift leads, and incident handlers across US shifts.
• Own the metrics program: define, track, and interpret KPIs and service outcomes.
• Turn data into action to optimize resources, workflows, and threat mitigation.
• Coach and develop analysts; create clear career paths and high-performance culture.
• Establish operating rhythms and conduct quality reviews and reporting.
• Identify pain points and champion tooling optimization and automation.
• Provide global senior management support across US, Ireland, and India operations.
• Translate performance outcomes into dashboards for technical teams and leadership.
