Job summary

Echo Global Logistics is seeking a seasoned Security Operations leader to oversee day-to-day SOC functions across cloud and on‑prem environments in Reno, NV. You will drive AI‑powered security operations, incident response, and automation, mentor SOC analysts, and partner with IT, Cloud, Risk, and Compliance to strengthen the security posture.

This role offers a substantial compensation package, a performance bonus, and the chance to influence security at a leading technology‑enabled logistics

Qualifications

• 8+ years of security operations, incident response, or threat detection experience.
• 3+ years leading a SOC or Security Operations team.
• Deep expertise with SIEM, SOAR, EDR/XDR, detection engineering, and incident response.
• Experience operating in SOX and SOC 2 Type 2 environments.
• Hands-on experience applying AI/LLMs to security operations and automation.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and executive stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring

• Experience operating in SOX and SOC 2 Type 2 environments
