Job summary

Federato in San Francisco is seeking a senior engineering leader to own and grow our AI-focused product areas, including Quote Agent, Product Studio, Submission Triage, and Content Management. You will shape the technical vision and build a high-performing team.

With 10+ years in software and deep B2B SaaS experience, you will mentor engineers, partner with product and GTM, and drive scalable, AI-powered solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Led engineering teams of 15–20 people.
• Expertise in B2B enterprise SaaS.
• Experience shipping AI-powered products.
• Experience designing agentic systems, AI workflows, or LLM-powered apps at scale.
• Strong leadership and mentoring of multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve AI-focused product areas: Quote Agent, Product Studio, Submission Triage, Content Management.
• Lead a cross-functional team of 9–10 engineers in ML, SWE, and data/analytics.
• Define technical vision and architecture for an agentic platform enabling autonomous systems.
• Champion engineering excellence with code reviews and architectural oversight.
• Partner with Product, Design and Delivery to align roadmap and ship high-impact features.
• Translate business goals into robust, scalable engineering plans for GTM stakeholders.
• Foster ownership, accountability, and growth as the organization scales.
