Job summary

Freshworks is seeking a senior demand generation leader to build and modernize a scalable demand engine across our product portfolio. You will own the day-to-day demand generation across channels, collaborating with Revenue Marketing leadership on strategy and prioritization, and rethinking how demand generation operates in an AI-forward company.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in B2B demand generation, growth marketing, or performance marketing.
• Experience owning scaled demand generation programs with measurable pipeline targets.
• Experience managing multi-million-dollar marketing budgets and ROI-driven decisions.
• Strong understanding of demand generation economics: CPL, CAC, conversions, velocity, and ROI.
• Demonstrated AI-enabled or agentic workflows in marketing or demand generation.
• Hands-on with Marketo/HubSpot/Pardot and Salesforce; familiarity with intent platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own and execute the scaled demand generation roadmap across the product portfolio.
• Build and optimize always-on programs across SEM, SEO, AI search, content, webinars, and more.
• Incorporate AI-native workflows for audience identification, orchestration, qualification, and reporting.
• Own metrics: MQCs/MQLs, SAOs, conversion rates, and pipeline contribution.
• Manage multi-channel budgets and optimize for incremental pipeline impact and ROI.
• Partner with Sales and RevOps on lead scoring, routing, SLAs, and handoffs.
• Collaborate with Product Marketing to align campaigns across product lines.
• Foster rigorous testing with hypotheses, measurement frameworks, and scaling decisions.
• Lead and develop a high-performing demand generation team.
• Evaluate and evolve the martech stack (automation, intent data, AI tools, orchestration).
